Do not, I repeat, do not use this company for your move. They present themselves as professional movers. The crew they sent for my move were nothing of the sort. They were careless, inept, incompetent. They did not know how to move furniture properly. They caused major damage to my dining room table, coffee table and bed (which had to be totally replaced). Plus they caused many other minor scapes and scratches to various other furniture pieces. They were a disaster! I also feel their business practices are questionable. I don’t like being taken advantage of. Shame on Allied Van Lines for associating with them. I hired them mainly because of Allied Van Lines association. I always thought they were reputable. I won’t trust them again either.

BEWARE!!! This is the most dishonest company you can deal with. I used them for a “Full Service” move from West Hills to Oxnard. The salesman Eric Paul came to my house reviewed the move and gave me a price, when I asked about insurance I was told they automatically give me 100k Insurance with $500.00 deductible as part of Full Service Move. Day one they come to pack the house some dressers they just wrapped some they pulled clothes out and pack in boxes, basically they found ways to just add extra boxes to the bill. Day two they come to load the truck the misjudged the size of the move and could fit my treadmill on the truck and told me “well leave it on curb someone will take it” Also asked me to put a TV and other items in our cars as they were out of space. Day 3 they come to deliver, they unpack and just stack stuff where ever, I had to ask to have my spare bed put back together, within minutes of them leave I found my Large New TV had Major scratches on the screen, my desk was damaged, they broke the glass shelves in our China Cabinet, and when I asked “Sorry” not we will fix this not here is how to make a claim just “Sorry”. I texted Salesman Eric Paul he immediately said no worries he will get me with claims and all we be good. Well 4 weeks of back and forth emails they sent me a check for $125.00 saying if was based on weight, I asked about free insurance after all the quote showed price and the insurance above it was same price so easy to believe that Eric Paul told me the truth about insurance, When I presented this to them they said I should have taken extra insurance, and to look at the price, the quote was $4868.16 the extra insurance was $4868.66 easy to miss 50 cents. Bottom line is they are Liars they traffic in dishonest business practices and cannot be trusted. I hope for your sake you choose a more qualified movers, I have use Bekins in the past and they are honest they charge more but you get way you pay for, BTW Bekins insurance was $290.00 which is what I expected and would have paid if not for the straight out lies of Eric Paul and Hilford Movers. PLEASE do yourself a Favor and find someone else for you move needs!
