The two guys showed up and first thing they say is, “aw this is gonna take longer than you were quoted and will you go get us dinner/” one of the guy was wearing boots untied and moped around the whole time. The main guy kept trying to get me to go get food for them and making excuses for why he didn’t wanna work fast. I had to help them. i was faster than they were. they complained and got slower and slower as we got into it. they were obviously trying to milk money from me. I told the main guy, the driver, that we had budgeted for a certain amount of time and he actually said, “oh you have more money, you don’t call movers unless you have money to spend. you’ll pay whatever it costs.” DO NOT TRUST YOUR STUFF WITH THESE MOVERS.

Just received a call from the person whom I have been in contact with who told me the owner of the company asked her to give me a call in regards to my last update on Yelp. She asked why I insist on providing updates of the poor experience I have since they have agreed to a settlement. I advised that I was told weeks ago from my credit card company that the dispute was canceled and I have actually already paid that bill as well. She told me she was not allowed to pay me until 60 days had passed since technically I could refile dispute after receiving the check. I asked her what protects me from them not paying me at that point then. She responded that the paperwork I signed was a legal binding document that tells me they will pay me. I asked why they couldn’t pay me now then. She responded that she would cut me a check tomorrow if I would a) pick it up in person and b) update my Yelp review to at least 4 stars. I told her absolutely not and thanked her for wasting more of my time.
This is further display of absolutely poor and absurd customer service on their side – to call me to confront me about a poor review and bribe me with my settlement sooner to update it to a review that is not warranted is poor judgement on their part.
Believe me, it is not in my interest to bash or bring down a company – I would have LOVED to settle day of, or even the next, but no one from Fox moving paid me any mind until I filed reports against them. Better yet, I would have loved to have had a great experience, paid for it, and got to write a great review, as you will see I have written plenty of as well.
DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.

This place is now know as the “Ghetto Movers.” What a scam. I totally failed to do due diligence by googling prior to hiring them to move my stuff. It was last minute and no one else was available. They totally scammed my by giving me an estimate and charging me more after I asked to have my items moved back from storage.
They also destroyed some very expensive pieces of furniture. Thankfully, I had upgraded and bought the insurance coverage. Still, this wouldn’t cover the damage to a brand new Lexington Dining room table.
When I did google them, I learned they had been thrown out of the BBB and had over 26 and counting complaints.
This place is a TOTAL nightmare and I would avoid them at all costs unless you would like your furniture destroyed and be scammed out of money. Oh, and if you actually drive by the warehouse where they store your furniture, you will really avoid this. Did I say Ghetto?!
