This may have been the worst experience with a company I’ve ever had. Not a moving company. A company in general.
They told us they’d be at our house at 8:00 am. The day before the move around 4:00 pm, they called to say it would be more like 11:00. I had already arranged for my children to be watched by others, and needed to reschedule. The movers showed up at 1:30. The truck they sent was too small. They sent too few workers. One guy would carry one small chair at a time. I had all of my boxes clearly labeled with the room they were to be placed in – and I kept hearing, “This says ‘kitchen’, where do you want it?'”. The kitchen!! They broke lamps, didn’t know how to disassemble beds, left the broken down beds in pieces, refused to bring our ping-pong table, and ended up leaving at least 1/3 of our things at the house we were moving from, leaving it for us to do. Then they charged us approximately $200 more than they said they would.
It was the worst-case scenario. I am still recovering. Use Taylor Moving instead. They’re amazing. These people are the worst.
